The city breathes differently depending on where you stand. Urban & Industrial captures that range — from a wet snowy night of cars in slush and puddles, to a gritty Tijuana street, to signature Toronto streetcars, to country roads, highways and underpasses.

But off the streets it goes deeper. The Toronto Sun’s printing press in it’s hey day, a northern nickel refinery, a supermarket’s refrigeration room filled wall to wall with compressors, a boiler room buried in the bowels of a college.

This is a working sound designer’s personal toolbox. Every recording earned its place.
